About Hey Auto
Hey Auto is a 3D auto-rickshaw driving game in the fictional seaside town of Palm Harbor. Explore streets, collect passengers and earn fares while working toward a net earnings goal.
The Hey Auto browser game
This browser edition is hosted at heyautos.vercel.app. It runs on the web without a separate app download.
Third-person and driver-seat cameras, a working fare meter, traffic, pedestrians, road signals, rain, changing daylight and headlights create a continuous driving shift. There is no short countdown and no six-passenger limit. You choose when to finish.
Independent implementation
The driving simulation, map, buildings, people, rickshaw, interface and gameplay code are independently implemented. Artwork is generated from geometry and locally drawn textures. The renderer uses Three.js under its MIT license; third-party notices are included. Engine sounds, horn and radio loops are synthesized locally.
This project previously hosted a copy of another driving game. That runtime and its associated content have been removed from the current edition. Hey Auto is not an official release or an affiliated version of that game.
